A nursing home in Taiwan has apologised after booking a stripper to entertain its residents. Although I’m not quite sure what they’re ‘sorry’ about – it looks like everyone had a great time:
Look at the pure joy on the faces of these wheelchair-bound OAPs. Seems to me the only mistake The Taoyuan Veterans Home made was not confiscating all phones so that this wouldn’t end up on the internet. If the residents want to engage in adult behaviour, that’s their prerogative. Let them have some fun and pop a few boners if it still works down there!
After going viral for the clip, the nursing home came under fire and released the following statement:
“The intention of the event was to entertain residents and make them happy. We are very sorry for the offence that was caused.”
The spokesperson also said that certain moves from the dancer were ‘too enthusiastic’ and that they would need to be ‘more cautious’ when planning future events. Yeah, more cautious by ensuring there are no snitches in the room at the same time.
I mean imagine living to 90 years old only to be denied a lap dance ffs. Denied one last interaction with a scantily-clad woman because there are people who think it’s ‘inappropriate’ for whatever reason. There are granddads out there who will need to see stories like this to even be convinced to go to a nursing home. In fact, why don’t they sort out a few male strippers for the grannies too?
