A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after an online altercation was sparked when his victim laugh-reacted to his new Facebook profile pic, resulting in them arranging to meet at a local Missouri park where he shot him dead.
Tanner Watkins posted a profile picture of himself and a young lady on Facebook, and it was all downhill from there…

Mental. Another 18-year-old girl was also injured in the park showdown, but no word on who that is yet. It’s definitely not Tanner’s girlfriend Alissa Musgrove though, because apparently she’s still on Facebook and everything she posts is being flooded with laugh reacts.
In any case, it’s absolutely crazy that all this went down over a laugh emoji. Imagine organising to fight someone at a park because they laughed at your profile pic, then actually showing up and shooting them dead? How fragile can you get? I know the victim also suggested that Tanner’s girlfriend fancied his little brother, but still. Now Tanner gets to spend the rest of his life in prison where his use of the N word probably won’t do him any favours, and his girlfriend is probably shagging the little bro to boot.
