Following on from the exquisite 2nd Birthday, Equinox is more than proud to bring to you a first for the brand. Teaming up with BamRadio to celebrate it’s 50th show we present to you 2 artists who represent the very ethos of BamRadio and a true force to be recognised with within the trance community. Ladies and gentleman, we give to you extended sets from… Ciaran McAuley and Sam Laxton.
Ciaran and Sam have literally set the world alight over the last 12 months and we couldn’t think of any other duo that has been doing the same. With releases between them on FSOE, FSOE Fables, Infrasonic Pure, Pure Trance and DS-R, these guys are the driving force in UK uplifting trance and are taking the world by storm. If you like uplifting, this is a treat for you! Extended sets? 2 hours for them both. This event is a must and the best way to start the year.
Supporting these 2 mavericks of the scene, we have a few DJs that would get tongues wagging in thier own right. First up we have Trancecoda resident, Paul Brice. Bricey is one of the most talented and well respected DJs in the UK scene. After recently topping a Trancecoda poll above acts such as Bryan Kearney, Cold Blue and the entire trance fraternity, Paul’s warm up sets have become a thing of legend and staple for one of the top trance brands around. Teaming up with Paul we have another incredible respected DJ who has graced the decks of some of the top brands in the scene; SWAP. Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Passion, Digital Society? you name it, this guy has done it and with gusto. These two start proceedings on the night with a B2B showcase especially for you lovely people.
Next up we have our very own Shambles. A Dj who has crafted a name for himself by creating some of the most electrifying closing sets with his unique ‘Tonked Our Power Trance’ style. Mr Hippey will be on hand to finish you off with melody and bass and you will not be disappointed. And of course we have our newly reinstated resident Neil Bamford. Neil’s passion for trance is what drives him and we all can’t wait to help celebrate the 50th show of BamRadio with YOU!!
“The whole point of BamRadio was to feature up and coming uplifting artists as well as the tunes that I loved. I brought the idea up to Darren about wanting to put on an event for the 50th show and he pretty much said “let’s do it!”.
I’m privileged to be able to choose a lineup based around 2 artists who are the shining example of up and coming uplifting artists on the verge of great great things, and a handful of the most talented and well loved faces in the scene who just happen to be good mates of mine.
